Community

Everyone here at Air Master really likes to participate in community events and organizations. We do things as a team and empower our employees to get involved in ways that are important to them, individually.

Some of the things we've done recently include...

Bear Hug Foundation

The Bear Hug Foundation provides incredible, life-changing experiences to both the kids who participate and their parents or caretakers; you can see it immediately, just by talking to them about the experience. Each year, Air Master is proud to provide financial support to keep this amazing program running and growing, as well as putting stickers on the side of our trucks to spread awareness.

Air Master regularly attends Berkley DDA meetings and provides financial support to it's undertakings, in order to work with the rest of our community to improve our neighborhood, it's opportunities, attract new people and businesses and make it a more enjoyable place to live, overall.

Berkley DDA

Race for the Cure

Participating in the Race for the Cure was such a fun way to do something outside of work together as a company, contribute to our community, support both breast cancer research and the city of Detroit, where they held the walk, and wear a lot of pink ;)

Race for the Cure breast cancer walk

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Susan G. Komen is the boldest community fueling the best science and making the biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested almost $2 billion to fulfill our promise, working to end breast cancer in the U.S. and throughout the world through ground-breaking research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 50 countries.

JARC

JARC - Enriching lives, Erasing barriers

There are very few places where people with development disabilities can turn for help, and they experience many unique challenges. JARC gives parents a place to turn when they need help finding resources for their child, they provide homes where individuals with developmental disabilities can live as independent grown adults while still having the support they need to stay happy, healthy and comfortable. It is an incredibly empowering organization that we proud to help support their daily activities however we can.

JARC is a non-sectarian, non-profit organization founded in 1969 by a group of parents concerned about the future of their children with developmental disabilities. Today, JARC is known as a prototype for innovation, high-quality community-based residential and support programs, serving nearly 200 adults in its group homes and various supported independent living arrangements. In 1998, JARC discovered a need in the community for support services for families who have a child with any disability still at home. Through the establishment of the Harris Children and Family Division, JARC is able to provide these services to several hundred families.
