Hello, residential customer.
We love working with you. Good heating and cooling is one of the essential pillars of a comfortable home, and the smiles we see over and over after a problem is solved or a satisfactory solution reached make every day and every job meaningful.
Think it might be time for some new equipment?
How to know if you should be considering a replacement or upgrade:
Age * cost of repair (if your equipment is 20 years old and you need a $500 repair, that values your system at $10,000. Given the increased likelihood of continued repair demands, if the cost to replace is less than that, you should consider replacing.)
If your furnace is around 10 yrs old, the amount of rebates and incentives available and savings on your utility bills often make the pay-off time one a few years. We handle all of the rebate processing for you (we do this on all of our projects) and you'll get your money back from in 2-6 weeks time.
95% of air conditioning systems out there now use a coolant called r-22. Due to changes in technology and regulation, this is being phased out of use and is now extremely expensive. Coolant has to be replenished every so often, and when this is the coolant you are putting back in, it is going to be very expensive. If your equipment needs a repair, the cost combination of the two often make it much more affordable to upgrade at this time.
Here's what you should know about the process:
We will send out a technician to evaluate whether you need a new system, or if a simple fix is a better choice. We want long-term customers, so we know if we give you the right solution not, instead of just selling you new equipment, it'll pay off in referrals and long-term business. if you buy a new system, we will credit your diagnostic fee to the project cost.
We offer variable financing options to fit all different projects
Your project can be completed anywhere from the day of to within 72 hours, depending on the urgency of the situation and how busy our schedule is. If it's urgent, it will always be completed immediately.
You can receive up to a 12 year parts & labor warranty, depending on type of equipment.
We will file all incentives and rebates for you.

A few things to look for that might help before calling:
- Make sure the breaker isn't tripped
- Make sure the switch on the furnace isn't shut off (on the outside, 2/3ft down, on the left or right)
- Thermostat is set to the proper on/off and temperature setting (below or above current, in order to activate) and has fully charged batteries (sometimes even low power, even when it's on, will trigger a problem)
- Make sure the filter isn't plugged (on the exterior in a slot or cabinet)
- *Do Not Open The Furnace
- A/C - Wash it if it's really hot - take a hose and spray it down
- *Best thing is to get it checked before the season you're really gonna need it

Residential Maintenance Agreement
We highly recommend our unique maintenance agreement program.
Every system will need maintenance now and then to keep it running successfully and keep your energy bills down for the full potential life of the system.
These maintenance calls can come when your system breaks during the middle of a swelteringly hot or exceptionally cold week and calls for an expensive after-hours repair or you can arrange with us ahead of time to have us schedule a convenient visit in the fall and spring and make these tune-ups happen before anything stops working while you're using it; we'll also give you a 15% discount on any work you need, if you plan ahead.
As a maintenance customer, you will also be designated a Priority Customer and always receive same-day service.
Pricing is based on the amount of equipment you have. Contact us to find out how you can pay a low monthly or annual rate to have your system cared for efficiently and automatically.

Estimates & Inspections
If you are looking for an estimate on new equipment, give us a call and ask for an estimate; estimates are always FREE.
All of our technicians are NATE certified and travel with fully-stocked trucks, so they can often make any minor upgrades right when they are on-site and combine your inspection with any required upgrades or repairs.
Emergency Service
Air Master provides 24 hour, 7-day-a-week service. If you have an after-hours need, we are available.
Most companies may or may not assign someone to be available during their off time, but we actually pay employees to be available for calls 24/7.
Call us at 248-399-1900 and dial 6 to get to the emergency service person.
We will give you an accurate estimate of when we will be there and any helpful instructions on what to do in the mean time, or what to try yourself, if that is a good option.
You can also check out our Tips and Tricks section, if you want to see if there is anything you can find before having us out. However, if you at all uncomfortable or in-doubt, please call us.
If you have a real emergency, be sure to content the proper authorities immediately by dialing 9-1-1.
Parts
We can get any part you need within 24-72 hours, if we don't already have it in-house.
Our trucks always carry a fully stocked inventory. Since we work on a fixed rate for the job, we don't get paid extra when we have to make those trips back and forth to the shop because we didn't bring the parts we need with us; those are just as annoying to us as they are to you. So, when we say our trucks are stocked, we really mean it.
And we keep a fully stocked warehouse with which to supply those trucks as needed. So... we carry a lot of stuff.
We've been doing this for 30 years, so we've seen all of the machines, replaced all kinds of parts, we know what breaks often and when, so we know what's worth keeping in the supply warehouse.
The other advantage is, we will get you the right part; we can tell you what products are quality and what are going to fail; where you can afford to buy the cheap brand and where it's worth springing for a minimum level of quality.
We can also help with aesthetics. if you want to replace a cover or are looking for a design change or upgrade. we also work with architects and interior designers to make sure your vision is complete.
We're happy to help you get the part you need. It's part of our service. We know, if we take good care of you, then you'll come and see us when you need some help. And that makes our jobs easier and more fun.
Give us a buzz, or live chat us, or come see us in our showroom and we'll help you find what you're looking for, at a great price.
And if you have some questions, we can help you there, too.
If you already have a maintenance agreement with us, you get a 15% discount.
Service Area
We provide 24/7 service to Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw and Macomb counties.

Here are some quick and helpful tips:
Things to check if something is wrong
- - Make sure the breaker isn't tripped
- - Make sure the switch on the furnace isn't shut off (on the outside, 2/3ft down, on the left or right)
- - Thermostat is set to the proper on/off and temperature setting (below or above current, in order to activate) and has fully charged batteries (sometimes even low power, even when it's on, will trigger a problem)
- - Make sure the filter isn't plugged (on the exterior in a slot or cabinet)
- - *Do Not Open The Furnace
- - A/C - Wash it if it's really hot - take a hose and spray it down
- - *Best thing is to get it checked before the season you're really gonna need it
General Tips:
- Energy Saving - if you're gonna be gone for more than 4-5 hrs in the winter, turn it down. *This doesn't work well in the summer because it takes so much more energy to cool back down again if you've turned up the thermostat while you're out.
- Get a thermostat you can program, or first learn if/how to program the one you already have, so it adjusts automatically and isn't over heating or cooling, unnecessarily (think about how often this might happen and what percentage of your bill that probably accounts for).
- - A well-maintained system can save 15-20%
- - Dirty filters can impact efficiency
- - An A/C unit that's slightly over or under charged can add 17% to your bills, and the cooling effect won't work as well. *You will need a professional to manage and adjust this.
- - Big box facilities like Home Depot or Lowes often have good deals on filters and other bulk items.
- - The quality in these, and other pieces of your equipment, impacts how long they last and optimal air-flow, which impacts if it has to work harder or not.
